Description
Fully restored using a new British Motor Heritage bodyshell. Red with Black leather seats.Wire wheels.
Being a MKIII model it benefits from the 1275cc A-series engine which was fully rebuilt during the restoration and has only covered 10,000 miles since.
The gearbox was also rebuilt along with the brakes, suspension etc.
All new wiring loom and ancillaries.
New fuel tank, pipes etc, carbs rebuilt.
The interior was completely renewed along with the hood. The seats were recovered in Leather in 2005.
Fitted with the correct wire wheel axle and front hubs, the wheels were shot blasted and powder coated.
Although this six-year restoration was Completed in 2000 it’s only been driven 10,000 careful dry miles since.
Still in excellent condition with only the odd scratch and stone chip.
Large history file with invoices for the restoration and old MOT’s.
It will be fully serviced in my workshop and have a fresh (voluntary) MOT.
