Supplied new by Nevilles Garage of Eastwood, Nottinghamshire to its first owner Mr Brian Rowley. Original sales invoice and colour chart comes with its extensive history file included it’s passport to service book.
It comes with a Heritage certificate showing it’s colour of Damask Red with Navy interior.
Mr Rowley used the car sparingly for the next 25 years clocking up only 60,000 miles.
Unfortunately rust had taken hold in the usual areas and Mr Rowley decided it was time for some work. He commissioned the MG owners Club workshops to carry out a full nut and bolt restoration using a brand new Heritage body shell.
This was completed at a cost of approximately £17,000. (Invoices are included).
The engine was upgraded to a stage II unleaded unit along with K and N airfilters and a LCB exhaust manifold and stainless steel exhaust system.
Electronic ignition. leather Mota-Lita steering wheel.
Mr Rowley kept the car until 2005 a total of 32 years!
I’ve serviced and supplied this Midget to the last three owners so do know the car well.
It’s covered approximately 30,000 miles since the restoration so around 90,000 miles from new.
It’s been Rolling road tuned and magazine featured and clocked at 99MPH while driving around the Millbrook testing ground.
Now available for the next custodian to love and cherish.
